TMS Therapy is only 3-20 minutes long. Repeat this simple process 5 days per week, for 7 weeks, and you’ll be on your way.

 TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), is a non-invasive therapy that uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate neurons in the brain, which then release neurotransmitters like serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. A depressed brain typically has a chemical imbalance, and TMS works to restore that balance.

Spravato (esketamine) is an FDA approved medication used to treat adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and depression with suicidal ideation.

It functions by increasing glutamate and a growth factor called BNDF. It is administered through nasal spray and is to be taken in conjunction with an oral antidepressant.

Dr. Francis has maintained board certification both in Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and holds professional membership with the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, American Society of Addiction Medicine and the Clinical TMS Society.

Dr. Francis has enjoyed working in her private practice since 2013, and is certified in the application of Neurostar rTMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) therapy. Her clinic has been able to demonstrate proven results of the effectiveness of TMS in treating adult patients with Depression, where pharmacotherapy has not achieved the improvement that is expected.
